Leas Marius - The Dissimulator of the Romans

Marius was a famous dissimulator. Lying is something that you see in some of the greek heroes like odysseus. Even he consistently hid his intentions unless it suited him to reveal them. He didn't systematically surround himself with men of restraint and honor. Although there were certainly decent men included among his associates, even they ended up tarred by association on posterity.
