The New York Giants Interviewed a White Candidate for a Buffalo Bills Head Coach, a Lawsuit Alleges
The league mandates teams interview minorities under what's called the rone rule. Text messages between florez and bill bellacheck show the patriots coach gave it away by congratulating the wrong person, since florez hadn't even been interviewed for the job yet. Florez claims in the lawsuit, the denver broncos feigned interest too, and after a similar bogus interview in two thousand 19, gave the head coaching job to a white candidate.
