Contentment, the True Sense of the Term.

The most successful nations are not the happiest. The ability to look beyond satisfaction and dissatisfaction at the empirical level is called contentment. Shankaracharya draws a very interesting, I mean, analogy and contrast between two types of experiences that he says. Pain never becomes pleasure and pleasure never becomes pain. So heat and cold may be interchangeable, but pain and pleasure are never interchangeable.
