At the time, there was no concept that you could be gifted and have a learning difficulty. So now I knew my problem is my brain, but what do I do about it? And then I came across work coming at a Berkeley in the States. This was Mark Rosenschweg's work looking at neuroplasticity. He showed that stimulation led to improvements in the brain. It just made sense that we must,. as humans, have that same capacity in our brain.
