Writing a Book, You Need to Know Enough World Building

You want to do enough world building that you are comfortable to go play in it. Don't let the world building hold you back, because the beauty of word processing is you can always go back fix it later. I see this thing where people will procrastinate the actual hard writing part of the novel for years because theyr sit in their world building. World building, worlding, that's hard. That's the hard part. It's far more important for you to get words on the page.
