The Mismatch Between It Should and It Could
I think one of the greatest errors of the field is we take the potential of what it can do. We add sometimes a really flashy label or I didn't like identify her to it that then creates this misconception that that's what it always looks like. And especially if we are good enough as clinicians and we know our material on it, it should look this way versus it could look this way. It leaves a lot of space and room for maybe it to look a very different way where maybe we could still be doing it in alignment with the model and really good therapy, but it's slow.
