Today’s guest on the show is Simon Dixon — Bitcoin OG, early investor, and CEO & co-founder of Bnk To The Future, the world’s first regulated Bitcoin securities platform that has facilitated over $2.5 billion of investments.

Simon was an early backer of companies including Coinbase, Kraken, Bitfinex, Blockchain.com, Bitstamp, BitPay, Robinhood, and Exodus. He is also the author of Bank to the Future (2012) — the first published book in the world to include Bitcoin — and has been campaigning for monetary reform since long before Bitcoin, documenting it all on his YouTube channel.

His work has taken him from UK Parliament with Boris Johnson to advising President Bukele during El Salvador’s historic Bitcoin adoption, and he’s been featured on BBC, CNBC, Bloomberg, Reuters, and the Financial Times.

How did Simon find Bitcoin in the early days and why was he hanging around a strange bunch of fellows in a squat on Old Street in London?
