Aircraft Not Capable of Maintaining Level Flight

Aircraft certificate of air worthiness had been last renewed in november 19 28, and was valid for a year. Aircraft's load at the time was two thousand 494 pounds on departure from croyden. So there were two pounds under their maximum. Evidence was given by three of the four surviving passengers and both crew. The inquiry closed on july third. Imperial airways and napier, who was the engine manufacturer, were cleared of any blame for the accident.
