Coenzyme Q10 and the Electrons

Coenzyme Q10 is a small enzyme that's in the middle of the membrane. It gets excited by the electrons, but it doesn't have a vacuum cleaner to suck the hydrogens across into the intermembrane space. The second complex is still excited by the electron, which it hands off to CoenzymeQ10. So, now what we've got is complex one and complex two have both-handed Coenzyme Q 10, the electrons.
