Ettory's Isolation

Ettory left Germany in August of 1933 and went back to Rome. He took up residence in one of his family's homes that was, at the time, unoccupied. Ettory spent nearly all his time working away at his desk on what his family couldn't say. Some have proposed that Ettory had suffered a nervous breakdown. But that seems unlikely.
