The Evolution of Genetic Variation

Two things are genetically the same and yet they look or behave differently from each other. This is known as 'intangible variation' The epi just comes from the Greek, it means at, or in addition to, as well as DNA. In turtles, all turtles have essentially the same DNA but whether they turn out to be male or female depends on temperature which the eggs incubate. And this is a very strange example of how global warming is causing problems in ecosystems. There's actually 132 examples of it on this call at the moment.
