The Importance of Infrastructure in Economic Growth

The UK is certainly not London. It is a very different entity. And one is struck by how the policy making machinery just is not conducive to changing that. We are still beset by this plethora of inequalities which were put in place during the Thatcher era and have never been way on back. Nothing has changed. Government policy, you know, frankly, is not likely as it's currently configured to make a big impact on that.
