How Does an Expanding Universe Create Its Own Energy?

People think you need a lot of mass or energy to create a universe, but actually it's something like ten kilograms. We wrote in the book that an expanding universe can actually make its own energy. This is exactly why you don't need this huge amount of energy too. So this really only works if you have nt expanding space. And space is kind of expanding at the moment, but it's expanding very, very slowly. But then you know, this is all very speculative. It's based on our best corrent understanding of the theory. god knows what people will be able to do in 102 hundred years or something.
