The Evolution of Drones in the Syrian War

Syria was kind of the new threshold for Russia's use of and application of UAVs in combat. Russian military was able to get battlefield video feed for first time in real time because they had persistent UAV presence over Syria transmitting information. And suddenly Russia has the capacity to get data from a range of different UAVs, including drones that range out up to 250 kilometers.
