Kathleen Leestma's Wounds on Her Head Were Not Linear Type Injuries, but a Complex One.

Dr. Jan Elizma said that Kathleen had no broken bones in her hands or wrists, which you would expect to see if she was defending herself against a swinging metal rod. Dr. Elizma also disagreed with the medical examiner, Dr. Deborah Radish, who had already testified that there were defensive wounds on Kathleen's hands and arms. The district attorney Jim Hardin asked how can you say so confidently that she had fallen down the stairs when she doesn't have coup or contra-ku injuries on her brain. And I do think that they, that the wounds on her head, from what I could see as far as the drawings did look like that.
