Brule and the Great Lakes

A full-scale war between the various Indian nations would erupt in 1628, pitting the French and their allies against the British and Dutch. Many of the indigenous peoples of the area were devastated within a few generations of contact with Europeans. Echean Brule was not a household name, at least not by us at explorers.
