The Importance of Influence
The Buddha said, too, mankind suffers, there must be end to suffering. And look what they have done. Suffering is going on. But I can't help putting the problem in terms of how much influence can one have. If anybody wants to influence people – don't let's think of you and me now,. but if anybody wants to bring about the end of this period of conflict and so on – they have to involve themselves in persuasion, in politics.
