God Caused a Wind in Genesis One Verse Two

In Genesis one, verse two, it was god's own ruach that was hovering here. So in this verse, ruach is translated as whenwe usually yes. The same thing is going to happen in the exodus story with the parting of the waters. It's the same vocabulary. God causes a wind to go over the waters, in that case, split them in half. But shall we also be thinking of god's spirit here, reading in parallel to genesis one y exactly? On the narrative level, a wind pushing back water, y to make sense.
