The Hsangobon: The First Evidence of Mathematics
The Hsangobon was probably the femur of some mammal, maybe a baboon. Belgian archaeologists found it and thought it looked to them like the very first evidence of mathematics. The Royal Belgian Museum for Central Africa is a museum of plundered sculptures and artwork which was robbed from the Africans. We've done that before; anybody wants to hear about casement again?
