The way the ukranians have fought has given a lot of ordinary tiwanes heart that they too could conceivably hold off an attack. It does mean rethinking some of the tactics that tiwan has adopted and some of the armaments. But the principle that a stout defence, a fighting spirit, a proper organization and help from allies can help you fend off a more powerful enemy is a powerful lesson.
