NK Cells Respond Better With LPS Than PBS, Right?
Human studies would definitely be the next step. There are a couple of viruses that we can use to infect people. So you can use vaccine strains of flu. We can use rhinoviruses and etc. The only downside to this whole paper is when I looked at this figure one, and I looked at the whole premise of the paper: These NK cells are responding more robustly with interferon gamma production if they are isolated from mice that were pre-challenged with LPS versus PBS. And the differences are really small. They say that most of our differences are within 10%, but I think we'll learn at the end of the paper when they challenge these mice with bacteria
