i see pittsburg as really a place we can look to and learn from, not just about anti symotism, also about the right community response. There are not enough words to describe how deeply inspired i remain by that community. I had only been to pittsburg once before the attack. It was for a friend's wedding. And the only thing i knew about pittsburg before that was that it had one of the country's best religion reporters,. He later became president of the religion news association. But i've had a lot of conversations with him since then about what he learned, his growing awareness of anti symmetism. That is something that all religion journalists can benefit
