Data science and machine learning are vague terms, at least to me. It's actually start with the business need - what is it that a business wants to optimize or minimise? And then from there comes the data: Do we have any data that we could use to fulfil this business need? For me, i usually say it's even better to start with something called data miningand data mining is that you don't even start testing morals or anything.
