i got into a little bit of this with magan mccardle in a roundabout way, when i talked about like, sort of dynamic scoring for cultural a politics. Let's say we live in a ety where everybody believes what peter singer argues about consequentialism is correct, and they try to act on it. And he says he no longer believes that, because once you die,a, you'll have no idea whether or not your preferences were honored. I think this really and caltulates what bothered me about this whole thing, and bothered me that i didn't bring it up, or at least i don't think i brought it up.
