Jim Jones almost single-handedly began the peaceful desegregation of restaurants, hospitals, and the workforce in Indianapolis. He'd say, so you're going to desegregate your restaurants, and you would come in with black people. And they said, well, no, we can't sit them. And he's just like, no, you have to sit them down... I'm a big people are watching me get kicked out of this restaurant.
