The Ukraine conflict sort of, especially the reverberations from Africa took everybody by surprise. The map of relationship between African countries and foreign powers was being redrawn. India, for example, is beginning to play an increasing fluency role on the continent. And that the effect of the in caution of all these countries into Africa is to create a situation where African countries now find themselves with different options.
