Castile's Obsession With a Movie

It is very clear that Castile had an obsession for this movie but his obsession for the movie doesn't justify his actions. It does likely indicate something deeper working within Castile psyche lots of people are obsessed with movies but they don't turn those obsessions into real-life actions. John Hinckley Jr. attempted to assassinate President Reagan as he walked out of the Washington Hilton in March of 1981 and later said he was motivated by a delusional obsession over actress Jody Foster in her role in Taxi Driver.
