The Life and Times of Agricola

Agricola returned to Britannia for a third time in 78, this time as the provincial governor. The new governor's first task was to retaliate against one of the eternally difficult Welsh tribes. He quickly gained a reputation as a strict administrator of both unruly locals and unruly legionaries. But no one could deny that he was always honest in his dealings with both his soldiers and the tribes they watched over.
