Dot Puz, Dot Pz, as a Crossword Puzzle File Mat

The new york times has just announced that they are no longer going to support it. This is a problem for at least three groups of people. People who use other aps because they're more accessible, and those who like using crossword puzzles on the web. I've never seen an open standard die that i didn't want to talk about.
