There's a reference in On Ferry Stories to, it's in one of the end notes. And he says that this wasn't, it wasn't incorrect to classify man as an animal, but it's, it is a mistake to classifyMan as only an animal. Tolkien is not anti-science. He's not anti-progress for its own sake or modernity. We're different because we're created differently. But yeah, he's got a position on that issue, doesn't he?
