The Importance of Being Authentic
I have the impression that in order to create the safety or the space for participants to be their true selves, they need to be authentic. And so if I'm being authentically me, only then can they be authentically them. So yeah, and making mistakes, that's part of like we often joke when we say, oh, we did that deliberately, you know, so you feel more comfortable. But it's about being real. If I'm real, they can be real. I'm vulnerable. And that's a really big part of connection.
