The Masochism of Capitalism

For me, as someone who has gotten themselves into debt, into credit card debt, as a result of this kind of, it's really like a masochism in the sense of like, I know that I don't have the money to pay for this now, but I'm still going to do it just to get this sort of feeling. That's the kind of masochistic thing that I saw within myself is like continuing to burrow yourself further in debt to sort of do this and in so doing, that's obviously what the system sort of wants you to do are keep reproducing or realizing that surplus profit.
