What Is a Family Office?

The family office concept has evolved quite a bit over the last 20, 30 years, 40 years. The most important thing for us was we wanted to get solid returns. And in our construction of what you're referring to as a family office, we wouldn't let anyone in the place use the term family office. We were looking for people who were talented and could help us to do what we were trying to achieve.
