Disorganized Care Giving, Attachment and Care Giving

A good part of the material that judith and mary were working with came out of mychil e study. And what we propose is that disorganization describes babies in the strange situation, but it is not the word that we should be using to describe the phenomenon. They are emotionally disregulated. If some babies have been observed to dissociate, babies do dissociate. To say that this is disorganized doesn't really make sense any more. One and two, another reason that doesn't make sense is that the majority of these babies grow up to be children who don't look like the babies. they are children who seize control over the reunion.
