Polymaths: The Alternative Path to Specialists
There's been a lot of debate and fun back and forth in terms of whether it makes more sense to be a specialist or a generalist. So polymaths fall in the middle, and they've kind of straddle both sides of the spectrum. They have at least three areas of deep knowledge but they also have the broadness that's more than what you see in specialist. And so we have this insatiable curiosity and it pushes them to embrace things like self learning.
