The Illusion of Prepping

I think one of the things we're learning right now is that perhaps the biggest illusion of all is the illusion that preppers had. The large-scale social realities we rely on are much, much bigger than any modest amount of agency you might be able to carve out and typically inspired by some Hollywood movie plot premise. That's not how the world works. It turns out Bitcoin is as entangled with mainstream finance as anything else. Like prepping is not going to do anything other than to buy you a few weeks of time. After that, you're back in the same situation with everybody else.
