The Key Drivers of Motivation in a Crisis Environment
The approach needs to be a lot more hands-on when you're going through a crisis in that it needs to be more direct directive. So let's take a step back from this and first define the role of motivation. I don't want to come across as too much of a professor here but it is important to understand that motivation is a certainly very important part of performance which is what we are aiming for. The other predictor of performance is talent or skill let's call it. It doesn't really matter how motivated I am I will never be playing in the NBA that's never going to happen right.
