The Scholes and Glidden Typewriter

In 1873 Dinsmore pitched them and said this typewriter thing is pretty awesome. Remington's design team were one trick ponies it even had like a foot pedal too for the return. The Scholes and Glidden typewriter was the first one that Mark Twain had if I'm not mistaken in 1878 he invented the shift key.
