The Modulus of the Trinity in Early Christianity

Sibilius of Rome argued the three modes were associated with specific dispensations in salvation history. The result was that monotheism and the divinity of Christ were preserved, but relationship between Trinity members was done away with. Early on this theology was quickly recognized as heretical.
