Jeremiah Imprisoned
Jeremiah set out from Jerusalem to receive his portion in the land of Benjamin. He was seized by a sentry who said he was deserting for the Chaldeans. The princes were enraged at Jeremiah and they beat him, putting him in prison. King Zetikiah asked if there had been any word from the Lord about Babylon. Ebbedmelluk took three men with him and rescued Jeremiah before he died.
