The Problem With Textual Criticism

There is a point in the Bible where it says God is like all power, right? You with me, you follow one with me? So there's many places. Do you think God is a hen with wings? Well, that's where you get into textual criticism, right? I don't think so. Of course not. It's a metaphor, right? Has to be has to be trying to give us some understanding by comparing it to other stuff. What criteria do you use that differentiates between that first verse being true to life representing reality versus that second one really just being a metaphor? Oh, okay. How do you determine between the two? Because that's really important.
