The Importance of Forgiving in DD2

DD2 is the story of these characters like getting knocked down and through cosmic time and spacerie. We really want it to sort of focus and celebrate that a little bit more than a nobility in casting aside the spent carcasses of the people who've enriched your capitalist super machine. Even during early access for example we were trying to take some plays out of our old playbook and be like hey if you die in between ends like you don't get candlesyou know you have to push forward to the next end.
