The Importance of Understanding Dementia
I think one of the key things is to have at the center of our care for them the the knowledge that they persist as per as full human beings as full persons throughout the course of their life. I feel very strongly that they are the same they are thesame person and it's incredibly painful for loved ones to witness the deterioration of a loved one but we have to understand that they're the same person. As Christians we believe there is restoration in the new creation and that that embodied history goes with us into the new creationism somehow in the mystery of God restored and redeemed.
