The Importance of Time and Money in Design

Designers just through working their day to day job end up with a pretty good sense of which things should change more and which things less because they start to see how painful it is well the developers come along and say no we can't change that and suddenly they realize oh wait we should have thought about that beforehand so um I think you get a natural sense for it and that's potentially why design systems has become as big as it is. People are realizing oh this thing is really hard to change later on we need a good foundation so let's put a lot of time and money into it that we weren't putting in before. It makes me wonder actually on that point whether there's a correlation
