The Different Pathophysiology of CTC Spinal Cord Syndrome
Central cord syndrome is a heterogeneous disease, despite some commonalities in the clinical presentation. There are several distinct injury patterns and each has various treatment options. The symptoms can be pretty variable; sometimes they're described as cape-like,. Sometimes there's no sensory deficits at all. Once diagnosed, the patient should remain in C-spine precautions.
