Does Foucault Analyze the Statement?

Foucault doesn't think he looks at history and sees unity or conformity. And like, I don't know if I would want to say like, archaeology for him assumes many forms. He always or often emphasizes the heterogeneity of discourse and of statements. There's really a lot more going on with Foucault than just 'dis discontinuity'
