The Importance of Knowing What to Do

Hosea is from the Hebrew verb, Yasha, which means to save. In his 12th year, Hosea begins to reign in the northern kingdom and he reigns a total of nine years. His name means salvation, but there was no salvation in him for the north,. It's kind of an unusual description of his reign here. He did what was evil in the side of the Lord. All the northern kings did yet not as the kings of Israel who were before him. So how so we're not really told. I wish we knew more about it, but here's all we're told is kind of a tease.
