I Don't Multitask While Eating
When i talk to people who struggle with food, usually everything is on the table. They don't have a personal standard and that leaves so much wiggle room when it comes to choice. So one of my standards that is incredibly helpful for me is that i don't multitask while i'm eating. It's not so much that i really want popcorn. I just wanted to layer something on top of the activity i was already doing with watching a movie. And i'm not saying that should be or needs to be your standard. The beautiful thing about it is it simplifies things for me.
