I think we see that whenever some new technology is released, people will kind of test the limits of what can this do and try to break it in all sorts of ways. And so I think we should be thinking about AI in a similar vein or sufficiently powerful AI. There's actually quite a lot of kind of synergy between concern for misuse and concern for misalignment. No one wants these systems to be destroyed but no one wants human race to destroy them either.
