Roger Federer - My First Experience

John McEnroe and others had tipped Roger Federer for the Wimbledon title. But he lost in straight sets in the first round to Mario Antich. He was all flourishes and beautiful trick shots, but there was no identity to his game. And I remember him playing in 2000 in St. Paulton in Austria against Marcus Hanczk. Other players would go out to watch this guy - partly just to see if it was all hype or not. There was a huge number of first round losses in that sort of spell.
